Titled «The Music of Silence», the event is organized in collaboration with the Virgen Blanca Brotherhood. Given the success of previous years, the performance has been scheduled over two consecutive days.
The program features the absolute premiere of Iluminatio. Virgen Blanca/Madre del Silencio, a piece commissioned from composer Tomás San Miguel as a tribute to the city and the Municipal Band.
The first part will feature the Municipal Band performing works by David Maslanka and Bert Appermont. In the second part, the Manuel Iradier Choir will join them for pieces by Karl Jenkins and Luis Aramburu.
Invitations will be available starting September 28th. Brotherhood members can collect them at the Lantern Museum (Zapatería Street, 35), while the general public can pick them up at Musiketxea (San Antonio Street, 14).
