The Councillor for Equality stated that sexual and gender diversity is not exclusively related to the LGTBI collective, but to society and culture as a whole. She emphasized that this diversity represents a common good, and that a society that allows and celebrates a wide range of sexual orientations and gender identities is a freer society for all people.
“"Sexual and gender diversity is not exclusively related to the LGTBI collective, but to our society and our culture as a whole. Thus, sexual and gender diversity represents a common good."
For the 2026 campaign, the City Council has chosen a creative proposal that develops the central concept 'Break the Frame'. This approach directly connects with the campaign's slogan 'Let's break sexual and gender norms, let's end discrimination', by visually and symbolically conveying the idea of questioning the structures that impose limits on identity, expression, and diversity from an intersectional feminist perspective. The campaign proposes a shift in focus from identities to the structures that limit them, seeking to transform the frame rather than fit into it.
