The Federation of Commerce and Services of the Medieval Quarter, integrated within Gasteiz On, is launching a new edition of ‘Enigmas en el Casco’, commencing this Friday, June 5th, and continuing until July 5th. This initiative encourages people to explore the streets and shops of Vitoria-Gasteiz's Almendra Medieval, challenging them to solve riddles and win various prizes.
Supported by the Department of Economic Promotion, Employment, Commerce, and Tourism of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, participants will need to decipher 25 different hieroglyphs or enigmas. These have been created by artist Alfredo Fermín Cemillán ‘Mintxo’ and are displayed on the windows, storefronts, and glass panes of participating businesses. The enigmas are spread across various locations within the Medieval Quarter.
To enter the prize draw, participants must correctly answer at least three riddles. Entry forms can be collected from any participating establishment and, once completed, should be deposited into the ballot boxes located at IAK Antzoki Taberna, Alpargatas Alben, Perfumería Gil, and Calzados Marijuan.
From all the correct entries, four ‘Regala Gasteiz’ gift cards, each worth 50 euros, will be raffled on July 7th. These cards can be redeemed at any of the participating shops in the campaign. The draw will take place at the FEDASOC headquarters.
This year's edition features the participation of 25 businesses from various sectors within the Almendra Medieval, including Academia de Peluquería Itziar, Perfumería Gil, Viajes Araba, Más que Ver Óptica, Santiveri, Alpargatas Alben, Calzados Marijuan, Dormitienda, Mendia Optika, Farmacia Puente, IAK Antzoki Taberna, and Ekia Estudios Fotográficos, among others.
