The most serious incident occurred on Saturday morning, when two men aged 26 and 27 were arrested as alleged perpetrators of a violent robbery. The events began shortly before 8:30 AM, when a patrol conducting public security duties near number 83 Gasteiz Avenue observed several people involved in a fight.
After interviewing those involved and several witnesses, officers confirmed that the two young men had stolen a mobile phone from another man inside a nearby hospitality establishment. When confronted, a street brawl ensued in which the victim was assaulted with a bottle. The stolen mobile phone was recovered thanks to the intervention of a witness, leading to the arrest of the two aggressors.
The second police intervention took place early this morning, Monday, June 22nd, when the urban guard arrested two other men, aged 40 and 41, as alleged perpetrators of a theft inside a building.
The events occurred shortly after 3:30 AM. A call to the 092 central alerted security forces to suspicious noises coming from a construction site portal, with suspicions that stored material was being stolen.
Several officers quickly arrived at the indicated location and caught the two men red-handed as they were taking various tools and construction materials, proceeding to their immediate arrest.
