Throughout October and November, seventeen exhibition venues will display the work of 64 artists as part of the VIII ArabaClick Photography Festival. Organized by Colectivo Revelare, the event is primarily supported by Fundación Vital and collaborates with the Provincial Council of Álava, the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, the Jardín Remoto photography school, and the cultural space FTG – Gorbea 41.
The festival was presented in ARKABIA by Sandra Remón (Colectivo Revelare), Arantxa Ibáñez de Opacua (Director of Vital Fundazioa), Ana del Val (Provincial Deputy for Culture and Sport), and Gaizka Uraga (Director of Culture for Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council).
As a key novelty, ArabaClick extends beyond the provincial capital for the first time in seven years. Selected photographs will be exhibited at the Casa Garcetas in Laguardia, the Micaela Portilla Cultural Center in Alegría-Dulantzi, and the interpretation centers of the Gorbeia and Valderejo natural parks.
In Vitoria-Gasteiz, the festival continues to grow by incorporating dynamic new cultural venues such as Galería FTG (Gorbea Street, 41), Casa del Cordón (Cuchillería Street, 24), and the IAK Izaskun Arrue Kulturunea (Herrería Street, 30).
Another significant highlight is the return of ArabaClick exhibitions to the iconic Sala Amárica, which will host the work of visual artist Oihana Garitano, winner of the ArabaClick 2025 super grant, alongside a collective exhibition featuring 18 other prominent Álava artists.
The festival maintains its commitment to high standards, with 100% of the artwork printed within Álava. Large-format photographs are produced with professional photographic papers and ultrachrome inks at FTG – Gorbea 41, ensuring durability for future rotations.
The central gala will take place on October 31st at the Auditorium of ARKABIA. During this community event, the recipients of the six training grants and the economic awards will be announced. Additionally, the 'Premio Revelare' will be presented to an individual who has made a significant contribution to photography in Álava.
