In this championship, the pair consisting of an Azpeitia resident and an Azkoitia counterpart secured the victory. The final took place last Saturday at the Trinitate Plaza fronton in Donostia, where they were crowned champions.

Before reaching the final, the winning duo played their semifinal match at the same fronton. They faced another team from Azkoitia, whom they defeated with a score of 16-3. In the second semifinal, two other teams competed, with one winning 7-16. Consequently, the final was contested between the eventual champions and the winners of the second semifinal, concluding with a score of 16-11.

The championship, organized by the Gipuzkoa Basque Pelota Federation (GEPF), commenced in mid-February in Antigua, Donostia. However, the initial phase matches were also held in various other locations, including Azkoitia's Kontzejupea, Zizurkil's cemetery, and Oiartzun's Kontzejupea. Based on the points accumulated in these four venues, four teams qualified for the second and final phase, with the concluding matches played last Saturday.
