Telmo Deun's Senior Women Secure Third Place in Gipuzkoa Trainerilla Championship

In the championship held in Mutriku waters, the Telmo Deun senior women's team won bronze, and the cadet girls also achieved a third-place finish.

The Telmo Deun senior women's team earned a bronze medal in the Gipuzkoa Trainerilla Championship after competing in the waters of Mutriku, with the cadet girls also achieving a third-place finish.

Last Sunday, the Gipuzkoa Trainerilla Championships took place in Mutriku. The Telmo Deun club entered three boats into the competition, and the senior women's team performed exceptionally well, securing third place. Victory went to Orio with a time of 15:20.41, and San Juan finished second with 15:23.89. Zumaia's cadet girls also came in third, and the junior boys finished fourth.
The day before the championship, on Saturday, the Gipuzkoa trainerilla league concluded with its sixth round held in Hondarribia. In the overall standings, Zumaia's senior women's team placed third, behind San Juan B and Orio. Zumaia B finished fifth. In the cadet girls' category, Zumaia was fifth overall, the junior boys fourth, and the senior boys ninth. In the Cup, finally, Zumaia B was eighth in the senior men's category.
Next weekend, rowers will gather in Ondarroa (Bizkaia) for the Euskadi Championships in this modality. Additionally, the Spanish Championships will also be held at that time, in Castro (Cantabria, Spain).
