The Azpeitia elektrotxaranga competition program concluded with Skapaie's performance, after Ostikada elektrotxaranga's session was cancelled. Citizens enjoyed a lively atmosphere.

Ostikada elektrotxaranga cancelled its scheduled performance in Azpeitia due to last-minute issues. However, Skapaie did not disappoint and, starting from the small Perez Arregi square, the Azpeitia-based group entertained the Old Town for an hour and a half, with dozens of residents singing and dancing around them.
With this latest performance, the program for the fifth Euskal Herria Elektrotxaranga Competition is now complete. Throughout the four Saturdays in May, six groups paraded through the Old Town: 3indarrok (May 9th), Joseto ta Alayak and Elektrotxufla (May 16th), Sakatu! and Patxangoi (May 23rd), and yesterday, Skapaie.
This year, for the first time, three prizes will be awarded. The competition winner will receive 5,000 euros, the second-placed act 2,000 euros, and the third-placed act 1,000 euros. Additionally, the winning elektrotxaranga will have the opportunity to perform during the San Inazio festivities. The jury, composed of music experts, will consider criteria such as musicality, sonority, audience interaction, repertoire diversity, use of Basque language, and parity.
