The San Pedro festivals will fill the streets and squares of Orio with music from June 27 to 30. The program features offerings for citizens of all tastes and ages, including traditional dances (romerías), concerts, DJ sets, brass bands (txaranga), and performances by local musical groups.
The first musical event will be on Saturday, Fishermen's and Txupinazo Day. In the morning, parades will liven up the streets, and in the afternoon, the romería band Bide Batez will perform in the Town Square and Hendaia Square. In between, the electro-brass band Burrunba will take over Hendaia Square.
In the evening, after the opening ceremony, the first concerts will take place in the Town Square, featuring Silitia, DJ Aitana Grandes, and DJ Irune Muguruza. On Sunday, Pride Day, music will have a prominent role, with the musical pub crawl Kantu Salda and an electronic bertso (Basque poetry singing) session.
On Sunday night, the stage will host the band Malko, Tatta, DJ Fifi ta Fefa, and La Fulana, performing from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
On June 29 and 30, San Pedro Day and the following day, local musicians will be the protagonists. The choir Salatxo will sing at the main mass, and the trikitilaris and band from the Danbolin Music and Dance School will also perform. The evening concerts will be presented by Muzak and DJ Siwanaba.
