Last Saturday afternoon, cyclists from the Peña Elorza team from Azkoitia participated in a race held in Tolosa's Usabal industrial park. This event also served as the Gipuzkoa Championship for the junior category, where the team demonstrated a high level of performance.

The club's representation included seven youth cyclists and nine junior cyclists, comprising three girls and six boys. All the young athletes put in a significant effort, which led to positive outcomes.

In the youth category, Julen Zinkunegi secured first place, while in the junior category, Julen Osa finished in third position in the Gipuzkoa Championship. Club officials stated that "all team members did a great job and returned very happy".

Next Saturday, the 16th, the competition will move to the Korta industrial park in Zumaia for a team time trial. This event will be the Gipuzkoa Team Championship for the junior category, and youth cyclists will also participate, although for them it will not be considered a championship.
