The 11th Orio Beer Fair, organized by the Orio Arraunketa Elkartea, takes place this weekend, featuring the inaugural Inter-group Batel Regatta as its main attraction.

The town of Orio is ready to host its annual Beer Fair. This year, the event introduces the 1st Inter-group Batel Regatta, scheduled for Sunday. Fourteen teams will compete in a 150-meter race starting from the bridge and finishing at the Herriko Plaza.
The fair opens on Friday at 7:00 PM with the Mirotza Awards ceremony. The weekend program also includes live music, DJ sets, and the 2nd Mus Championship. The food menu features traditional dishes like pork knuckle and sausages, alongside a variety of beers, including non-alcoholic and gluten-free options.
Organizers aim to bring the sport of rowing closer to the local community. Over 60 volunteers will be working throughout the three-day event to ensure a festive atmosphere for all attendees.
