The players from Azkoitia will compete against the team from Aia this Sunday at 5:00 PM in the first leg of the Gipuzkoa Interpueblos Championship semifinals. Previously, in the quarterfinals, Oteiza managed to eliminate last year's champion, Astigarraga.

Oteiza secured their spot in the semifinals by dominating the individual matches, both in the away game in Astigarraga and in the return match played at the Gurean fronton in Azkoitia. Now, they face a regional opponent, Aia, who defeated Soraluze in the quarterfinals by winning all six matches played.

After eliminating Zarautz in the round of 16 and Astigarraga, the reigning champion, in the quarterfinals, Oteiza's players have reached the semifinals. The return matches will be played next week at the Gurea fronton.
