Getaria City Council has announced a vacancy to temporarily fill a mid-level economic management technician position (subgroup A2) through Lanbide. The primary goal is to address the workload accumulation for learning the role's tasks and subsequently cover a maternity leave. The contract will last approximately nine months.
This position will involve key responsibilities in the City Council's daily financial management. Tasks include preparing payrolls, processing Social Security procedures, handling invoice payments and accounting, monitoring budget execution, invoicing, bank reconciliations, tax obligations, justifying grants, and performing collection-related duties.
Academic requirements include university degrees in Economics, Law, Business Administration, or equivalent fields. For language proficiency, a C2 level in Basque is preferred, but candidates with a C1 level will be considered if no C2-qualified applicants are found.
Evaluation criteria will specifically consider experience in Social Security management, payroll preparation, work with the SAREKO system, and accumulated experience in other duties related to the position.
The position offers a gross monthly salary of 3,722.64 euros. Working hours will be from 08:00 to 15:00, with flexibility and in accordance with the schedule and calendar set by the Udalhitz agreement. The City Council also stated that no employment pool will be created from this selection process.
