The Donostia Arraun Lagunak team has won the first Euskotren League regatta at the Buitrago del Lozoyako reservoir. The women's boat was victorious, while the men's team finished in third place.

Donostia Arraun Lagunak has claimed the first flag of the Euskotren League in the regatta held at the Buitrago del Lozoyako reservoir (Madrid). The 'Lugañenea' boat achieved a clear victory, driven by the team's strength. The trophy was presented by Isabel Diaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid.
In the two-person time trial, the 'Lugañenea' boat from Donostia Arraun Lagunak easily defeated Orio, Zumaia, and Tolosaldea. The Donostiarra team competed in the first heat and finished last, more than half a minute behind the winner.
In the men's category, despite a strong performance by the Donostiarra team, Orio and Zierbena finished ahead. Donostiarra secured third place, just hundredths of a second behind Orio and Zierbena.
In this first round of the Eusko Label League, the Bermeo-Urdaibai boat was penalized by the judges, which allowed other crews to advance in the standings. It is anticipated that Donostiarra can have a successful season in the league.
