The municipality of Barrika will host a circular race and walk covering 13.2 kilometers, traversing beaches and the Butroe estuary, with organizers strongly encouraging the use of public transport.

The race will commence at 09:30, while the walk will start at 09:40. The circular route will span 13.2 kilometers, beginning from Barrika Town Hall. Participants will traverse the beaches of Muriola, Barrika, and Meñakoz, reaching the Txipio area and circling the Butroe estuary before returning to the Town Hall square.
Organizers aim to prioritize public transport. A shuttle bus service will be available from Plentzia metro station to Barrika from 07:30 to 09:20. The return option will be from 13:00 to 15:00. Additionally, the Bizkaibus A3451 line between Areeta and Armintza has a stop in Barrika; it is recommended to check schedules on the Bizkaia.eus website.
Those unable to use public transport may use the beach car park, the Town Hall road street, or the field next to the municipal pelota court. The Town Hall warns that it is mandatory to respect paths, private property exits, and sidewalks, as authorities may impose fines for violations.
To maintain environmental cleanliness, organizers will set up recycling points for cardboard, plastic, refuse, and organic waste. The Town Hall emphasizes the importance of leaving the route as it was found, so participants must carry any waste that cannot be deposited in containers in their backpacks. After the event, there will be an opportunity to have coffee at the Barrika Football School bar, and showers will be available at the football field for athletes.
