A sculpture in memory of pandero and drum player Juan Erzenarro Berastegi has been unveiled by his family at the entrance of their home, Txanpandir, in Berastegi, attended by family and several trikitilaris.

Xabier Alberdi Zabale, who was a member of the group Kupela with Erzenarro, and Lutxurdiok unveiled the bust, which was covered with cardboard and plastic. Afterwards, Aitziber Otegi, from the Trikitixa Elkartea, placed a white and blue checkered scarf around the sculpture's neck.
Family members also took the opportunity to pay tribute to Ezenarro; Luis Alberdi Beltza and his three students danced in front of the bust, and Xebastian Lizaso recited verses from the family's balcony.
Before the event concluded with an appetizer, all participants took a group photo next to the new memorial.
Juan Erzenarro Berastegi, the pandero player, passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 83.
