Hernialde's Culture Day will take place on Sunday, May 10, with a full day of activities planned. In the morning, at 10:30 AM, the Kutsidazu bidea Ixabel mural will be inaugurated at the fronton. This mural commemorates the route based on Joxean Sagastizabal's book, which runs from Hernialde's square to Alkiza, recalling Sagastizabal's stay in the town as an Basque language student.
Alongside the mural inauguration, the II Craft Fair will open. Throughout the morning, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase works and products from local producers and artisans, all set to the backdrop of live music. Afterwards, a popular communal meal will be held, serving as a gathering point for the community.
In the afternoon, following the meal, a toka championship will be organized, and inflatable games will be available for children. This will be followed by a chocolate party. To conclude the day, the group Tio Teronen semeak will perform their show Haurreskolari at 6:30 PM, bringing the festive atmosphere to a close.
