Héctor Hernando Bocos takes over as the Director Gerente of the OSI Uribe. Previously, he held the position of Director Gerente at Osatek, a public company of the Basque Government specializing in diagnostic imaging.
Hernando will dedicate his experience and management skills to Osakidetza, aiming to further enhance the healthcare services provided to the population of Uribe, ensuring close, quality, and sustainable care.
Hernando brings fifteen years of experience in public management. He is an Industrial Organization Engineer from the EHU and holds a Master's degree in Business Management from the same university, as well as a dual degree from the French university ESTIA. He previously served as Deputy Manager of the Bizkaia Campus of the UPV/EHU.
Meanwhile, Amaia Uranga Ibarra has been appointed Director of People for the OSI Uribe. She holds a degree in Humanities and Business from the University of Deusto and a Master's in Healthcare Management. Her professional career has been primarily in healthcare management within the private sector, and her organizational vision will foster the development of people and teams.
These appointments signify a renewed drive in the leadership of the OSI Uribe, integrating new profiles with experience in public management and organizational insight. The goal is to continue improving healthcare in the Uribe region, adhering to the principles of proximity, quality, and sustainability promoted by the Basque Government.
