Usurbil's Sutegi municipal library has announced two new events for early June, as part of its spring activities. On the 2nd, there will be a discussion about Karmele Mitxelena's book "Zoriona, edo antzeko zerbait," and the day before, a meeting for young readers with Yolanda Arrieta has been organized.

Sutegi municipal library has organized "Sormena partekatuz" (Sharing Creativity) for Monday, June 1st, at 4:00 PM. This meeting will take place among young readers from Usurbil, guided by Yolanda Arrieta. It will be a space for those who participate in the children's and youth reading clubs throughout the year, but it will also be open to anyone who finds the plan appealing. The session will last approximately one hour, offering participants the opportunity not only to read but also to write and draw.
The second event is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2nd, at 6:30 PM. In the discussion led by Alaine Agirre, Karmele Mitxelena's book "Zoriona, edo antzeko zerbait" will be the topic. Several copies of this book are already available at the Sutegi Library, as it is recommended to read it in advance to participate in the session.
The library has explained that "it has been several years since we started organizing reading clubs with children and young people," and they have covered numerous books, including ZOMORROPOEMAK (Leire Bilbao), GALTZERDI SUIZIDA (Mariasun Landa), TXAN FANTASMA (Mariasun Landa), AITONA FLOREN (Karmele Mitxelena), BIHOTZA DUN-DUN (Miren Agur Meabe), TXOKOLATEGIA (Yolanda Arrieta), MARI XOR (Yolanda Arrieta), EUSKAL HERRIETAKO IPUINAK (J.K. Igerabide), and SORGINAK (Roalda Dahl), among others.
During this journey, "two quite solid groups have formed in our library, always with Yolanda Arrieta as our companion: one for 4th-5th graders, and another for 6th graders-1st year of ESO." Therefore, they have decided to organize a meeting to round off the academic year, "where we will not only read, but also write and draw; in a word, create."
Participation does not require prior attendance at reading clubs. "Anyone interested in the theme is welcome to come and create and enjoy in a friendly atmosphere," they added.
