Four municipalities in the Left Bank, along with the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, have organized Gazte Artea Ezkerraldean to showcase and support the region's young artistic talent.

The municipalities of Portugalete, Barakaldo, Sestao, and Santurtzi, in collaboration with the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, are promoting the Bizkaia Gazteak program. This initiative aims to foster projects that support the emancipation, autonomy, integration, equality, participation, solidarity, cultural identity, and mobility of Bizkaia's youth. Within this framework, Gazte Artea Ezkerraldean has been consolidated as a regional effort to highlight and support young artistic talent from Ezkerraldea.
The 14th edition of Gazte Artea Ezkerraldean will commence its tour in Portugalete on October 2nd. The inauguration will take place at the Gazte Gela, the municipal youth engagement facility that serves as a hub for young creation in the town. Until January 29th, 2027, the exhibition will also travel through Barakaldo, Sestao, and Santurtzi, presenting the work of four young artists from the region: Alec Butrón, Sara Fuica, Ysabela Scabarrozzi, and Arrate Jerez.
The official inauguration of the 14th edition of Gazte Artea Ezkerraldean is scheduled for October 2nd, at 7:00 PM, at the Gazte Gela in Portugalete.
