According to sources from the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, the emergency alert was received at approximately 14:15. The swift response of the fire brigade, coordinated by the Basque Government's Security Department, ensured the situation was brought under control within minutes.

Firefighters successfully extinguished the flames, which originated in the kitchen, and subsequently ventilated the property to clear the smoke. Despite the initial alarm, no injuries were reported.
