The Basque Government's Department of Culture and Language Policy has approved 600,000 euros in funding to support the distribution and promotion of cultural creation throughout the 2026 fiscal year.

The Governing Council has authorized this funding program to facilitate the internationalization and commercialization of cultural projects. The initiative aims to strengthen the presence of Basque creative work in new markets.
The grants are divided into four main categories: performing arts, music, literature, and visual arts. This structure maintains consistency with previous years to ensure ongoing support for creative sectors.
The 2025 call for applications supported 90 cultural projects. This included 41 performing arts initiatives, 35 music projects, 9 literary works, and 5 visual arts projects, helping to promote Basque culture both within and outside Euskadi.
