With the 'sold out' sign displayed for days at the Bilbao Arena for the second leg of the FIBA Europe Cup final, Surne Bilbao supporters who missed out on tickets now have an alternative. The Frontón Bizkaia, located just a few meters from the main venue, will install a giant screen for fans to experience this historic match.
Access to the frontón, which has a capacity for 2,000 people, will be completely free, although those interested in attending will need to reserve their spot. This initiative has been promoted by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, allowing fans to create an atmosphere of support as the Miribilla team attempts to secure a second continental title.
The team will need to win by at least a seven-point margin against the Thessaloniki team, following the 79-73 result in the first leg.
The match will take place next Wednesday, April 25, starting at 8:00 PM. In addition to the great atmosphere expected at the Bilbao Arena, the support of fans will also be felt at the Frontón Bizkaia. The arrival of several hundred Greek fans is also anticipated, similar to last year.
