The Basque Government has approved a direct grant of 150,000 euros to Bilbao Ekintza to promote commercial and social cooperation within the urban environment of Bilbao.

The Basque Government has authorized a strategic investment to strengthen the commercial fabric of Bilbao. Through a direct grant to Bilbao Ekintza, the initiative aims to coordinate cooperation between local businesses, social reintegration entities, and educational centers to improve neighborhood cohesion.
This initiative includes technical support and awareness-raising activities, designed to better integrate commerce into the urban space and strengthen ties between the business community, citizens, and local authorities.
Additionally, the Bini commercial incubation project has been authorized for the 2026-2027 period in the San Francisco neighborhood. With a budget of 119,900 euros, the program facilitates low-risk entrepreneurship, allowing new projects to establish themselves within host businesses to reduce initial investment costs.
