The operation will involve 22 officers from the Ertzaintza and the local police forces of Sestao and Portugalete, in addition to two ambulances and Civil Protection personnel, given the expected high public attendance.
The performance is scheduled for 11:00 PM at the Las Camporras park, a venue located near the border with Portugalete. Consequently, both municipalities will maintain constant coordination during the event, and officers from the neighboring town's Local Police will also be part of the deployment.
The operation will be coordinated from a command post set up at the Sestao Local Police facilities. In addition to police personnel, six Civil Protection volunteers and City Council information staff will participate, distributing themselves at access points and high-traffic areas to guide attendees.
In terms of healthcare, the concert will have one basic life support ambulance, one advanced life support ambulance, and two healthcare professionals providing on-site assistance within the venue.
The City Council has also planned measures to facilitate potential evacuations, with clearly marked emergency exits, and will designate a reserved space for people with reduced mobility on Juan de la Cosa street, adjacent to Las Camporras park, to ensure concert accessibility.
The Council has also announced a special cleaning operation for Sunday, reinforcing it with 15 specific hires, aiming to restore Las Camporras park to its usual condition as quickly as possible after the concert.
The Councilor for Culture, Carlos García de Andoin, highlighted that ETS's performance is "one of the most anticipated concerts of the festivities," prompting the Council to prepare all necessary resources in advance. He stated that the municipal priority is for the event to proceed "with complete normality" and for the public to enjoy the concert "in a safe environment."
