The LAB union section at Barakaldo City Council, which holds the largest representation, has denounced 'irregularities and chaos' in the Local Administration's employment pools. The union points to 'arbitrary assignments, allocating better positions to individuals already employed'. LAB is requesting an urgent commission meeting and emphasizes they will not permit 'criteria to be modified at will'.
The City Council, for its part, stated this Friday that they 'strictly and rigorously comply with the regulations'. They add that management is carried out 'seeking a balance between workers' rights, stability, and the proper functioning of municipal departments', respecting the principles of merit and scoring for those in top positions.
All this with the aim of guaranteeing the best possible public service to residents.
Sources from the Personnel department, led by the PNV, provided these details.
