The PNV has designated its candidate for the Mayoralty of Sopela for the 2027 municipal elections, opting for a profile with institutional experience and deep knowledge of the municipality.

The jeltzale party has selected its candidate for the Mayoralty of Sopela for the upcoming 2027 municipal elections. The chosen individual possesses extensive institutional experience, a profound understanding of the municipality, and a career linked to both public management and the local social fabric.
A resident of Sopela for many years, the candidate currently serves as a full-time opposition councilor. Their political background includes a period as deputy mayor, during which they managed key areas such as Culture, Basque Language, and Education. Furthermore, they maintain a close relationship with the associative movement, collaborating with organizations related to functional diversity such as CEMEDETE, Down Syndrome, Aspace, and Fundación Fidias, in addition to actively participating in local sports.
Throughout the current legislative term, the jeltzale municipal group has adopted a critical stance regarding the management of the current governing team, accusing it of "lack of planning and ambition in key projects" for the municipality.

"We aim to offer a solid, serious, and citizen-focused alternative, centered on the real priorities of the community."
