The Olympic pool at Fadura sports center in Getxo was closed this Tuesday due to the presence of feces, during a heatwave. Users who were in the pool had to leave following a notice from the sports center managers. As per health protocols, as soon as organic matter was detected, the self-control plan was activated, and the facility will not be usable until tomorrow.
Municipal sources have reported that the closure does not affect the solarium area or the outdoor children's pools, which will remain open until 9:30 PM with reduced capacity: no more than 750 people will be allowed.

Additionally, from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, users will also have access to the indoor pools (the 25-meter pool and the main pool).
Tomorrow morning, the Maintenance department will conduct the corresponding analyses, and if the results are favorable, the Olympic pool will reopen at its usual hours.
