BOS offers three concerts in Bizkaia with Jon Thate and Alejandro Cantalapiedra

The Bilbao Symphony Orchestra (BOS) will present three concerts this week in Bizkaia: in Bilbao, Orduña, and Getxo, conducted by Alejandro Cantalapiedra and featuring the Bilbao flutist Jon Thate.

The first event will take place on Thursday, September 3rd, at 20:00, in the church of El Carmen in Bilbao. This will be an extraordinary concert benefiting Cáritas. The BOS will perform Carl Reinecke's Flute Concerto in D major and Felix Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3 in A minor, 'Scottish'.
The full program can be heard on Friday, September 4th, at 19:00, in the church of the Josefinos in Orduña, and on Saturday, September 5th, at 20:00, at Muxikebarri in Getxo. Ludwig van Beethoven's Egmont Overture will be added to both performances.
