The Bilbao City Council has launched the process to select the poster for the 2026 Aste Nagusia, allowing public voting between June 15th and 21st.

Residents of Bilbao will have until next Sunday, June 21st, to choose the poster that will announce the Aste Nagusia festival in Bilbao in 2026. The Bilbao City Council has initiated this process, encouraging public participation.
From the 276 proposals submitted to the competition, a jury has selected six finalist works. These are: 'Bilbo eskutan', 'Zoriona', '¡Qué rule Marijaia!', 'Los retazos de Marijaia', 'En volandas', and 'Un abrazo azul para Bilbao'. This edition has highlighted the interest the contest generates among design professionals and enthusiasts.
A mixed voting system has been implemented. Public votes, both online and in person, will each carry a 35% weight, while the remaining 30% will be determined by the jury's criteria.
Online voting can be done through the Bilbao City Council's website. In-person voting will take place at the Ibaiondo Civic Centre (La Bolsa building, Calle Pilota, 10), where the finalist posters will be on display. Voting will be open Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 14:00, requiring the presentation of an identification document such as a DNI, driver's license, or similar.
The winning poster will be announced on June 24th. Its creator will receive a cash prize of 3,000 euros, and the selected artwork will become the official image for the 2026 Aste Nagusia.
