Thousands gathered in Bilbao's city center for the Pride parade organized by Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO, marking a day of celebration and advocacy for LGBTI+ rights.

Bilbao was once again awash in rainbow colors this Saturday for the parade organized by Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO. Thousands of people took to the streets in the city center from early afternoon to participate in a day of protest and celebration in defense of the rights of the LGBTI+ community.
The march, initially scheduled to start at 5:30 PM from Plaza del Sagrado Corazón, experienced a delay of nearly two hours due to a mechanical breakdown in one of the floats. Finally, the parade commenced at 7:00 PM amidst applause, music, and a celebratory atmosphere that was not dampened by the wait.

"It's good to make it visible today, but it needs to be supported every day."

Throughout the afternoon, hundreds of groups of friends, families, and visitors filled the route to show their support for diversity and demand real equality. "It's good to make it visible today, but it needs to be supported every day," stated Laura Giraldo, Alex Conde, and Nova Sepúlveda, three attendees who joined the call.
Euphoria and a festive atmosphere marked the beginning of a parade that, for the second year, transformed the center of Bilbao into a large square for the advocacy and celebration of diversity.
