Children will take center stage this Sunday in Zumarraga during a day dedicated to them, featuring a variety of planned events.

The children of Zumarraga will be the protagonists this Sunday during the 'Children's Day' celebration. The day's events will commence at 11:00 AM with the ceremonial exchange of powers between the Children's Corporation and the Municipal Corporation, held in the Town Hall's Plenary Hall. From the council's balcony, the children will read the inaugural proclamation, offering a pleasant prelude to the upcoming Santa Isabel festivities.
Following this, the child corporators will descend to the main square, where they will be welcomed by the dancers of Irrintzi under an arch of authorities. Subsequently, a festival organized by the children of Irrintzi will take place in the square.
Throughout the morning, a Basque bowling and 'toca' championship will be held at Zelai Arizti park starting at 10:30 AM, followed by a scavenger hunt in the square at 12:30 PM. In the afternoon, the children's drum parade will commence, departing from La Salle at 17:30 PM.

A session by DJ Mikeltxi and ballroom dances from José Mari Orbegozo's school will bring the day to a close.

The day will conclude with a DJ Mikeltxi set at 19:45 PM in the Azoka, followed by ballroom dances led by the school of José Mari Orbegozo at 20:00 PM in the Zelai Arizti cinema.
