The municipality of Zegama is preparing to host the San Bartolome festivities, which will be held from August 21 to 30 with an extensive program of sports, gastronomic, and cultural activities.

To ensure the smooth running of the celebrations, the Zegama Town Hall has issued a series of recommendations. Highlights include cycling races, a costume contest, a bertso-lunch, and a popular dinner. For the latter, the road section from Aitxuri Herri Eskola to the Urgain Berri bridge will be closed from August 21 to 25 to install tents and tables.
For organizational reasons, the elevator in the San Bartolome neighborhood will be out of service between midnight and 7:00 AM during those days. Additionally, it is noted that for the popular dinner, attendees must bring their own drinks, while the chicken will be grilled by the company Euskal Parrilla in the school courtyard.
The local government has requested citizen cooperation to maintain clean festivities. Specific containers for the separation of organic and plastic waste will be provided during the main gastronomic events.
