Osteopath Miren Salmerón has launched her new book, 'Maps and Universes', in Legazpi, drawing on 34 years of study and experience to invite readers to explore self-care.

Miren Salmerón Murguiondo, an osteopath from Legazpi, has presented her new work titled 'Maps and Universes'. In this book, the reader takes center stage, and the author invites an exploration of self-care and health with a participatory attitude, setting aside technical jargon and complex methodologies.
The work is the culmination of Salmerón's 34 years of continuous research in the health field. She studied physiotherapy at the Faculty of Health Sciences in Zaragoza and later specialized in osteopathy. Following a six-year part-time postgraduate program in Barcelona, she pursued multiple training courses aimed at investigating human needs.
The 'Active Health' talks, offered two years ago, facilitated the creation process for this publication. This week, Salmerón will hold a double presentation for her book: on Thursday at 6:00 PM in a more conventional setting at the cultural center, and on Saturday at 12:30 PM in a charmingly informal space, the Mimaru flower shop on Kale Nagusia.
