The Legazpi Municipal Library has opened its doors in collaboration with the Olamendi CP HLHI, aiming to introduce children to the library and share the joy of reading. The initiative begins on Wednesday with 2nd-grade students and seeks to highlight the library's significance as a hub for culture and human development.
They believe that promoting the library, opening its doors, and making documents accessible to readers is the best way to support it. To achieve this, 60-minute guided tours will be offered, where, accompanied by library staff, children will playfully learn to find publications and information, become members, and discover the activities organized for them.
Furthermore, during the last week of September, the regular reading clubs will take place. On Monday, September 28th, the Easy Reading Club will meet to discuss the book "Las invisibles", and on the same day, the first meeting of the Children's Reading Club for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders will be held. On Wednesday, September 30th, the Adult Reading Club in Spanish will discuss Georges Perec's book "La vida instrucciones de uso".
