The Basque Parliament's upcoming ordinary session will tackle significant issues including proposed changes to the Hunting Law, air quality initiatives, and debates surrounding school meal policies.

The ordinary session of the Basque Parliament, taking place in Gipuzkoa, will cover various legislative matters. Among them is a bill proposed by the Popular Party Group-Basque Popular Group (GP PV-ETP) aimed at amending the Basque Country's Hunting Law, focusing on the role of the hunting companion and the subsidiary liability of the provincial councils for damages during the closed season.
The session will also address the ineffectiveness of vulnerability indices in Gipuzkoa through a motion presented by Larrea Laso (GP PV-ETP). Additionally, a non-legislative proposal concerning air quality will be debated, put forward by the EH Bildu parliamentary group.
Furthermore, the Mixed Group-Sumar will introduce a proposal to halt the mergers and closures of public centers. Garikoitz Mujika (GP EH Bildu) will also present a motion regarding the provision of audiovisual materials to content platforms to promote the Basque language.
Lastly, the Mixed Group-Vox will submit a non-legislative proposal concerning the Spanish Government's intention to impose halal menus in all public schools.
