Today, August 17th, Azkoitia celebrated Farmer's Day, filling the day with numerous events. In the morning, the main event was the 1st Gipuzkoa Championship of Mountain Horses and Mares, held in Plazaberrin, where the Artazo stud farm, from Elgoibar (Gipuzkoa), emerged victorious.
Furthermore, throughout the morning, artists participating in the Inazio Iriarte painting contest decorated various corners of the town. Additionally, trikitixa melodies enlivened the city streets, and children had the opportunity to play in the Bizijolas area.
Athletes also made an appearance, offering a demonstration of rural sports in the main square. A video has been compiled featuring images and statements from the early hours of Farmer's Day with its protagonists.
