Access to housing is a growing concern due to limited supply and historically high prices. In this context, public auctions are emerging as an attractive option for acquiring property.
The Bizkaia Treasury has put an apartment in Balmaseda up for auction with an initial price of 77,352 euros. It is a third-floor unit, without an elevator or heating, covering an area of 67 square meters.
Located in the center of the Enkarterri town, on Pío Bermejillo street, it is part of a building constructed in 1885. The property borders this street to the south and a watercourse to the north. To its right is the house of the heirs of Domingo de Trucios, and to its left, a garden belonging to these owners.
The apartment's state of conservation is described as “normal” by the Provincial Council. According to the Bizkaia Treasury, there are no encumbrances on this property, and the auction period will conclude on June 17, 2026.
Those wishing to participate in this auction must make a guarantee deposit of 2,500 euros. This amount will be transferred to the Foral Treasury if the successful bidder fails to make the payment for the winning bid. Conversely, deposits will be returned to interested parties who are not awarded the property. Economic offers must be submitted in a sealed envelope, and in the event of multiple matching offers, the property will be awarded to the one submitted first.
