The Lanestosa City Council has opened the bidding period to lease the municipal premises intended for use as a bar-restaurant, formerly the town's old cinema.

The Lanestosa City Council has opened the tender for the lease of a municipal property designated for use as a bar-restaurant, located at Manuela Sáinz de Rozas street, number 3. This property, known as the 'old cinema' of the Enkarterri region, is situated next to the municipal pelota court and the town hall building.
The property will be awarded through an open public tender and will be handed over with its existing facilities, utensils, furniture, and inventory. The minimum bidding amount will be 2,652 euros per year plus VAT, with a monthly rent of 221 euros plus VAT. A deposit of 3,000 euros will be required to guarantee the fulfillment of the contract obligations.
The lease contract duration is set at ten years from its formalization, although the first year will be a trial period and can be extended by mutual agreement. While open to all interested parties, evaluation criteria will include the offered price, the project or memory submitted, and being registered as a resident in Lanestosa for over a year.
Full details regarding the tender conditions are available on the municipal website, www.lanestosa.eus, and at the link https://www.euskadi.eus/anuncio_contratacion/bar-antiguocine/web01-tramite/es/.
This initiative is seen as an opportunity to "create employment in the town and bring dynamism to this municipality in the Enkarterri region." Those requiring further information can also contact the City Council by calling 946806116.
