The Durango Children's Council has launched a pilot initiative to show new residents the most significant places in the municipality, with the aim of fostering integration and coexistence.

Yesterday, children aged 10-12 offered a guided tour to new residents arriving in Durango. During this 45-minute route, participants visited key points of the town, such as the Town Hall and the municipal square, the Bizenta Mogel Library, the market square, the Landako health center, and Kurutziaga street.
The tour concluded with a small snack, designed to strengthen bonds among participants. This initiative, named Durango Tour, emerged from a proposal by the Children's Council, which identified the need to improve the reception of people arriving from outside the community.

"The City Council has announced that it is a pilot experience and has praised the children's ability to promote coexistence and work towards a more inclusive town."
