A partial solar eclipse will be visible in our area on August 12th. Authorities have emphasized the importance of not looking directly at the sun, even during the eclipse, to avoid permanent eye damage.
To observe the phenomenon safely, only special eclipse glasses with ISO 12312-2 certification should be used. Regular sunglasses do not provide sufficient protection. Furthermore, the use of binoculars, telescopes, or cameras without proper filters is strictly discouraged.
The safest method is indirect observation, such as using projection systems. Special attention is required for children, ensuring they are supervised at all times and do not look directly at the sun.
