Traffic disruptions in Durango due to cycling events

Several streets in the center and old town of Durango will be closed to traffic next Tuesday and Saturday for the Durango Emakumeen Saria 2026 and Aitor Bugallo Memoriala 2026.

Next Tuesday and Saturday, several streets in the center of Durango and the surrounding old town area will be closed to traffic due to the upcoming Durango Emakumeen Saria 2026 and Aitor Bugallo Memoriala 2026 events. These two prominent cycling calendar dates are expected to draw numerous participants and fans to the locality.
The first impact will occur on Tuesday, May 19th, between 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM, during the Durango Emakumeen Saria race. The route will affect streets such as Montevideo, Zumalakarregi, San Agustinalde, Jose Miel Barandiaran, Galtzareta, Herriko Gudarien Plaza, Artekalea, Barrenkalea, Lariztorre, Santa Ana Plaza, and Goienkalea.
On Saturday, May 23rd, it will be the turn of the Aitor Bugallo Memoriala, a new sporting event that will cause restrictions between 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM in Zumalakarregi, San Agustinalde, Jose Miel Barandiaran, Artekalea, Barrenkalea, Lariztorre, Santa Ana Plaza, and Goienkalea. In both instances, the disruptions will be concentrated mainly in the most central and busy streets of the municipality.
