From May 20 to June 10, a series of lectures and guided tours will be held to bring the latest technical and scientific advancements to the public. During the presentation, officials emphasized that heritage is in constant evolution and that tools such as artificial intelligence are opening new ways to protect and study it.
The program includes four main sessions, all with free admission. The first event will take place in Donostia on May 20, focusing on the potential of artificial intelligence in historical archives. On May 27, also in Donostia, the discussion will center on medieval wooden architecture in Gipuzkoa, highlighting over a hundred identified buildings.
On June 3, in Errenteria, a new book about the Aizpitarte caves in Landarbaso will be presented, emphasizing the importance of Paleolithic cave art. The series will conclude on June 10 in Zarautz with a visit to the Santa Clara convent to learn about its rehabilitation process and adaptation for public use.
