Tomorrow, September 1st, the opportunity to register for the Atlantikaldia festival will begin. This year, the event will be held from September 17th to 20th, and various activities have been organized for those who wish to participate.
Interested individuals will be able to register for guided tours, Sukaldian workshops, and paddle surf sessions. Registration for each activity must be done in person at the Errenteria-Orereta tourism office, or online through the forms available on the Atlantikaldia website.
The guided tour offerings are diverse: 'Journey to Little Manchester', 'From Oiarzun to the Maritime City', 'Hidden in the Old Town', 'Emakume EKIN', 'Following the Sound of Sirens', 'Uncovering Errenteria's Treasures', and 'In Search of the Five Gates' are some of the options. These tours will be conducted in Basque and Spanish, and registration must be completed at the tourism office.
The Sukaldian initiative, meanwhile, will bring together recipes, people, and different cultures. On September 20th, the final day of the festival, it will take place in various gastronomic societies in the town, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Online registration will be required to attend. Once the workshop is finished, the prepared pintxos can be tasted at Herrixka.
Finally, paddle surf sessions will also be held on September 20th, in collaboration with the Fortuna Sports Club. Three time slots have been organized: at 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM. Those wishing to participate must register online.
