The local Aiztondo Choir from Astigarraga will not be alone this Saturday for the concert it will offer in the parish church. This spring concert will feature the company of the Arantzabela Choir from Gasteiz. Both groups will perform separately first, and then close the evening by jointly interpreting two songs.
The first to sing will be the voices of Aiztondo Abesbatza, under the direction of Igor Arroyo. They will perform six works, including well-known pieces such as Ave Maria, Lau teilatu, and Veinte años. Afterwards, it will be the turn of the group from Gasteiz, this time under the direction of Maite Vicuña. They will also perform six works in Astigarraga.
The concert will conclude with both choirs singing two works together in the church, under the direction of Arroyo and Vicuña. In this final part of the concert, Maitia nun zira and Ama begira zazu will be performed.
