The tender for the design of the initial sections of the cycle path in Eskoriatza has been launched. The Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa has updated the plan to promote sustainable mobility across Debagoiena.

The project aims to convert the former railway route into a cycle path connecting Eskoriatza to the border with Álava. The Department of Road Infrastructure and Territorial Strategy has structured the work into six phases following a review of the original 2007 plan.
This progress is the result of long-term institutional collaboration. Within the municipality, approximately 11 kilometers remain to be built, in addition to the 13.5 kilometers already completed.
Previous interventions included the section between Aingeruguarda and Kuatruena, as well as improvements to the Gatzbidea and Vasco-Navarro routes.
