Garagart from Vitoria Wins 9th Craft Beer Competition in Ordizia

Garagart beer from Vitoria has secured first prize in the Ordizia Craft Beer Fair competition, followed by Iparra from Tolosa and Scimmia, also from Vitoria.

Garagart beer from Vitoria has been crowned the winner of the 9th Craft Beer Competition held in Ordizia, with Iparra from Tolosa and Scimmia from Vitoria securing second and third positions.

The Euskal Herria craft beer fair, organized by the Emaneurre group, has celebrated its ninth edition in Ordizia. Following the previous day's tastings, the fair and competition took place today in the Plaza Nagusia, offering the opportunity to sample beers from fourteen producers.
Participating producers included Basabe (Legorreta), Kaneta (Hendaia), Baobeer (Elgeta), Iparra (Tolosa), Gross (Donostia), Atala (Burlata), Scimmia (Vitoria), Garagart (Vitoria), Brewewry land (Zumaia), Versum (Irun), Gerrigardo (Eskoriatza), Tensina (Jaca), Blas tito (Gorliz), and Zampano (Aizarnazabal). The judging panel was composed of several experts.
In the afternoon, the fair reopened at 5:00 PM, with musical entertainment provided by Broken Brothers Brass Band and the electrocharanga Joseto Ta Alaiak. The evening featured raffles, a Toka championship, and the Espuela event, with the fair closing at midnight. In addition to beer, attendees could also enjoy spit-roasted pork, croquettes, Lazkao talos, Dona doni artisan ice creams, and Artzabaltza artisan bread.
