“"It was a powerful year because we had many concerts. Both Ganbara and Hots members performed in several national cycles. Above all, we had the Luminiscence project, a large audiovisual project carried out in the cathedral of Donostia. Ganbara choir members went there ten times, and we performed the project 20 times. This increased the number of activities. However, each group has its work, its annual function, and in total, I believe 70 activities were carried out, considering all four groups."

Ganbara Faktoria held a press conference at its premises in the Errekalde neighborhood of Oñati to present its 2025 activity assessment, 2026 forecasts, and announce the 'Atzera begira' partner concert scheduled for this Sunday.
During the presentation, the fundamental importance of contributions from partners and friends to Ganbara Faktoria's funding, in addition to public funding, was highlighted. They explained that without these contributions, the association's activities would be almost impossible. Currently, around 120 individuals make contributions, receiving various benefits such as discounts and tickets.
As a token of gratitude, for another year, they have organized a partner concert. The event will take place this Sunday at the Parish of Saint Michael the Archangel in Oñati, starting at 7:00 PM. The concert is named 'Atzera begira' (Looking Back), as it features approximately 60 works that Ganbara Faktoria has commissioned from various composers over the years. Some of these works will be performed during the event. Non-partners are also invited, with tickets available for eight euros at the chocolate shop and on the association's website.
An assessment of 2025's activities was also provided, emphasizing that it was a more fruitful year than usual, with around 70 activities carried out. Forecasts for 2026 are also positive, and although the activity will be more 'regular,' there will be several events. These include a concert called 'Oñati Gure Herria' and the participation of the Ganbara and Hots choirs in various competitions. Innovations have also been announced, such as the 'Sokaz soka' children's and youth gatherings or an educational concert based on Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
