The Aretxabaleta City Council intends to commission the work for the drafting of the PEASA project in the Lausita neighborhood and has therefore initiated the relevant file. The neighborhood requires the renovation of its sanitation and supply networks, along with the repair of streets and sidewalks.
The Council plans to tender the project this year. The cost will exceed 100,000 euros, and it is expected to be drafted by the end of the legislative term. This will ensure the project is ready for the next legislative period, allowing construction to commence.
The intervention will cover the entire Lausita neighborhood, spanning a total of 16,000 square meters. This will involve a comprehensive renovation of the sanitation and supply networks, as well as sidewalk repairs.
An urgent repair was carried out last month in the buildings numbered 2-12 in Lausita, which has secured the water supply and resolved the immediate issue. However, the pluvial sanitation work and the renovation of all installations in the remaining buildings are still pending. The Council has initiated this file to address these tasks.
