The Bergara women's football team has secured promotion to the Basque League, marking a historic season for the club.

In football, the women of Bergara will not have to wait for next week's "final" against Intxaurdi to secure their place in the Basque League. After drawing against Elgoibar yesterday, and with their direct rival Intxaurdi subsequently losing on Tolosa's ground, the local team took to the streets of Bergara this evening to celebrate their promotion.
Bergara has had a stellar season, losing only three matches and drawing five. After years competing at the top, they have finally taken a significant step forward this year and achieved promotion. This achievement makes history for Bergara football, as the town has never before been represented in the women's Basque League.

"We are very happy with what we have achieved. We are now reaping the rewards, but this is work that started long ago. We will be in the Basque League for the first time, this is historic for Bergara, and now it's time for us to enjoy and start preparing for next year."

Lander Ugarte · Coach
The celebrations began after Intxaurdi's slip-up in Tolosa. The team's coach, Lander Ugarte, emphasized that this promotion is the result of years of hard work and that now is the time to enjoy and prepare for the upcoming season.
